Leading Edge Associates’s Lean Black Belt training program equips professionals with the advanced skills needed to lead large-scale improvement projects and Lean transformation programs.
This program provides participants with a practical application of advanced Lean tools and techniques, as well as developing the appropriate process improvement, leadership and project/program management skills to drive the changes that are necessary for a successful Lean transformation.
Hybrid Training Format
Through this hybrid model, participants benefit from the flexibility of self-paced learning combined with the structure and engagement of scheduled live support.
You’ll complete self-directed modules through our online learning platform, complemented by six pre-scheduled virtual live tutorials held every 4–5 weeks to reinforce key concepts, encourage real-time interaction, and to enable networking with your peers.
In addition, you’ll receive ongoing access to expert mentoring and support throughout the program.

Program Fees: $5,275 CAD + tax

Assessment and Certification
Participants are assessed based on completing a facility-based workplace improvement project and 4 module assignments.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a globally recognized Lean Black Belt certificate from Leading Edge Associates.

- Assessment: One work-based improvement project and four module assignments.
- Completion Timeframe: Up to twelve (12) months. Participants typically take 6 to 9 months to complete.
