Lean Black Belt Certification Program
Your Lean Black Belt certification highlights your expertise in leading process improvement projects and teams, through identifying and eliminating waste, reducing variability, and improving overall organizational efficiency.
Program Content & Structure
One-on-one online mentoring support is provided for participants throughout the program and assessment is based on completing a course assignment and submission of a work-based improvement project. The program is delivered through a blend of traditional distance education and online learning and consists of the following four modules and an in-house project. The Lean Black Belt certification program includes the following key topics:

Assessment
Assessment is based on completing four assignments and submission of a work-based improvement project. Upon successful completion, participants will receive Lean Black Belt certification from Leading Edge Group. Successfully completed participants can also receive a certificate from Ontario Tech University (an additional fee will apply)
This program can be delivered through self-paced e-Learning or instructor-led (for groups of participants). One-to-one online mentoring support is provided throughout the program.
Approximately 200 hours
Up to twelve (12) months
Lean Green Belt qualified or similar level of practical Lean experience
Three textbooks are provided upon enrollment. All other materials will be provided online, including recommended readings.
