Since 1995, the team has supported organizations worldwide across healthcare, manufacturing, life sciences, government, and professional services. Who We Are

Leading Edge Associates builds on the global legacy of Leading Edge Group, originally founded in 1995 by Joe Aherne in Cork, Ireland, on the belief that lasting improvement begins with people. That principle continues to guide us today. Our team helps organizations harness the knowledge and potential of their own people to achieve meaningful, measurable, and sustainable change. With more than 30 years of combined experience, we have supported clients across healthcare, manufacturing, government, and service sectors worldwide. Much of this experience and impact was developed through work delivered by the Canadian team under Leading Edge Group prior to the transition of its Canadian operations to Leading Edge Associates. Collectively, these programs and consulting engagements have generated over $1 billion in verified performance and cost improvements for more than 1,500 organizations globally. Through deep expertise in Lean, Green, and Digital Transformation, we continue to act as a catalyst for improvement – empowering every manager, operator, administrator, and executive to drive progress.
